Can I gush?

I love this age! I love being a mom and love my daughter of course. But this is just the coolest age. She is crawling, pulling up on everything, and is really enjoying being mobile. I was scared that her being mobile would be so much harder in terms of watching her and keeping her safe. And yes, we do have to keep a good eye on her. But she is able to entertain herself while I get things done.

And she is just so funny. She has a real personality and a definite sense of humor. She understands that people laugh at the things she does, so she tries to get a reaction. We went to dinner the other night, and every person that walked past, she would stare at them until they looked at her, then she would make this funny face at them, and they would laugh every time. And then she would just laugh and laugh! She also learned how to play peek a boo herself, and she will use anything she can find like a napkin or piece of paper to hide behind and play peekaboo. Little girl cracks me up.

I know a bunch of us have LOs right at the same age, do you agree? Is your LO a jokester? What awesome things are everyone's LOs doing? What has been your favorite age so far? What are you looking forward to the most?

ETA: for those on mobile, she's 8 months. Insert shock face here, when did she get so big?!?!

Aww!! That is a cute age!! LO is very cuddley with me as I have the boobs, lol, and she loves her daddy! He tickles her and tries to entertain her and she smiles at him all the time! It's the sweetest!

Once when I told a friend something like this she responded "Just wait, it keeps getting better and better!" I was skeptical but so far she's right. Parenthood is such a gift.
