So. . . . I held out on the Crocs for a long time. I heard they can be unsafe whiles running and on escalators (and a part of me just thinks they are ugly). Then DH promised her a pair of Dora crocs. I can't find her size in any store so I'll have to order them online. Do they run big? I've heard that they do. DD wears a size 8 but according to the Crocs sizing chart she's a 10-11. That seems REALLY big.
Not sure if I should order them big, small, or at her correct size.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Do kids Crocs run large?
I think they do. DS is still in the 10-11 that I got him last year and his Stride Rite shoes are 12 1/2's. Granted, he doesn't wear the strap on the back, but they still fit fine.
DD's 4/5's are big on her - like plenty of room to grow - and her Stride Rites are 5's. In fact, I originally got her 6/7's (thinking that would give her room to grow) and they were ridiculous. She can probably wear those next summer.
Maybe it's just that Stride Rites run small...
DD currently wears the 6/7 and those are almost to small. The 8/9 are HUGE on her and probably won't fit her this year. BOO
I would suggest finding some place to try them on so at least you can get the hang of the sizing.
I'd def go somewhere and try to try them on. DS wears a 10 and he's still wearing his 8/9 crocs. They JUST fit him now, but I know the 10/11's are going to be HUGE. We're goign to try them on this week just to see, but from my experience last year, they will be too big.
FWIW, I wish that they'd just make them for each individual size b/c it seems that everyone has this problem!
You could always order from Endless.com and get a pair in each size and return the ones that don't fit (free shipping and free returns). Zappos does'nt sell Crocs anymore, but endless has a pretty good selection.
