Do you correct them or not? (clicky)

If a Facebook friend re-posts something on Facebook (on their own page, not on yours) that isn't true, do you correct them (by linking to snopes.com or a news article) or not? I have several friends who are always re-posting things that are definitely wrong (ie- backwards pin number entered into an ATM calls the police, onions placed around the house will keep everyone in the house from getting the flu, etc). I usually don't bother correcting them unless it's advice that could actually be dangerous, but I'm always vaguely annoyed that other people pass on "helpful advice" without bothering to take a second to find out if it's true. I'm just wondering what other people think.[Poll]
