Hello! Technically not a bumpie yet, but I wanted to introduce myself since there are so many Canadians on here.
DH and I got married in 2011, we've been together for 6 years. I'm 28, he's 29. We have two furbabies, a boxer and a mutt. We are going to TTC in July after we go on a long vacation in June. We've been charting for 30 cycles TTA (successfully) and are almost ready to flip the switch.
Living in Calgary, AB for the past 6 years, we both come from small towns.
Re: Intro - from Canada
Hello and welcome! I'm in your general vicinity, and a sucker for boxers. There are quite a few Canucks on Parenting. And some that don't have kids yet. You're welcome to come join us, we're a warped bunch.
Oh, I'm a tad older than you, live south of the city, work full time and commute in. Married for eons and the rug rats are in my siggy.
Enjoy your June vacation. Oh, a random tidbit - Calgary's birth rate is highest 9 months from Stampede. Good luck!
Yes, my SIL told me that. We're hoping to avoid TTC in July and go for August/September instead. lol Foothills hospital told SIL she was lucky she delivered when she did as they wouldn't have been able to keep her as long if her daughter was a stampede baby. (She was IVF)

My plan is to go to the South Campus when the time comes way down the road haha. It's way closer for us.

Bluenoser - GBS, I keep meaning to say I love them in your siggy! I've been a couple of times to see them.
Ah GBS. Excellent music. They were here once but I wasn't able to go. I was bummed.
To OP: I am Albertan, a bit north (by a lot) of you, but I have a lot of family & friends in Calgary. We are planning a week there in July because my cousin is getting married and there are quite a few people we want to see so it just made sense to stay for a week.

We can try. We haven't solidified our plans yet, but we are getting there on the 1st, the wedding is on the 6th, and we are leaving on the 8th.
