Trying to Get Pregnant

Flying and TTC

I'm going to be taking a trip next month right after my fertile time.  Does flying affect implantation??

  • Sorry to dissapoint, but this is not a joke.  I've heard that you shouldn't fly in your 1st trimester because of a possible MC so was wondering if flying somehow affected implantation also.  Thanks for being completely rude.  I'm not an

    In all seriousness, no, it will not harm anything or prevent implantation. At the most, flying can dehydrate you a bit or cause jet lag after a long trip, so drink lots of water and make sure to

    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

  • Well, she kind of implied that I was an idiot, I would consider that a bit cruel.  But no biggie, I guess my question was a bit ridiculous.  Embarrassed
  • When I was pregnant with DD#1 we flew to florida a month after we found out I was pregnant. Not only that but my husband is a pilot and flys small planes and before I even knew I was pregnant I was flying at least 2-3 times a week and I didn't miscarry. I
