DH question about M.L.

If this question has been asked before, my apologies....

im wondering if anyone's DH/SO plan on taking any leave from work after the baby is born?  Mine works solely on commission, and we are hesitant to have him take longer than a week off, but he's getting flamed from my family for that (haha theyll take any chance they get, poor guy). We will make the decision based on what's best for us, but i thought id ask especially STM; will it be better having him longer than a week at home?
