Trying to Get Pregnant

Starting OPKs & checking CP... advice welcome :-)

Well, after 6 months unsuccessfully TTC and cycles getting less and less regular, I decided to hike up my charting efforts.  Starting tomorrow I will be using OPKs and checking CP... only I have no idea what I'm doing. :-)

I read the lessons on FF and obviously I will read the directions on the OPKs, but if there is anything you think I should know before starting, please share.

What time of day do you do each?  And for those of you who work full time like I do - how do you manage to sneak a cup in the the bathroom every day and then wait 4 minutes for a response without anyone noticing?  My biggest concern is that I will not be able to reliably do this at work.

Thanks for your help (as always)!

  • I do not pee on sticks at work.  I use FMU for my OPKs even though technically with wondfos you arent supposed to.  It has never been a problem.

  • I use OPKs and work, so I test once in the morning at home, once at lunch, and maybe again at home after work. However, when I've gotten positives it's been on a weekend midmorning, which is not my normal test time during the week.

  • Well, good luck on your new adventure!

I use OPKs and monitor CM, but do not check CP. During my potential fertile window, I usually use OPKs 2-3 times a day.  I poas in the morning before work.  And I poas when I get home after work.&n
