Hello ladies! I just wanted to let you know that Jones Nathaniel was born via scheduled c-section on April 3rd at 2:51 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs 7 oz and was 22.5 inches long! It sounds like he's a chunker but to me he is just such a tiny little peanut!

The c-section could not have gone any better. I honestly loved the whole experience! I was overjoyed when my hubby got to announce the sex to me, and started bawling happy tears!
The recovery has been hard and painful, but so far no worse than my vaginal recovery with the twins. I'm definitely hurting, especially when I've been on my feet more than a minute, but the bliss of having him here and healthy cover the pain pretty well! Hopefully next week I'll be feeling a lot better physically.
Breastfeeding is going GREAT and I am so thankful! I had the worst BFing experience ever with the twins and was determined to get it right this time! I had Jones on the breast nearly constantly during my hospital stay, refused to give him a pacifier and never offered a bottle, resulting in a total of about three hours of sleep for me the entire time, but it was so completely worth it because he is now feeding like an absolute champion!! My milk came in early and things got a million times easier from there! We are in a great routine now and I was able to sleep all night last night, only waking up (by my alarm, he would sleep all night if he could!) to feed him. He is seriously the best baby and I'm so thankful!
My kids are absolutely smitten with him and love him to pieces!!! We were able to come home yesterday and are settling in as a family of five. Here are some pictures!
Can't wait to catch up on all the birth stories since I've been away! ![]()
First family photo right after the kids met their baby brother for the first time!

Going home!!!

Congratulations! The pictures are so wonderful. His face in the first is so precious. I'm so glad you had the experience you wanted and that breast feeding is going so well...encourages those of us who are FTM and clueless!
Congrats! This is a wonderful story! I'm so glad that everything is going well and I hope your recovery goes faster
ETA: Not sure how I missed adding this but that little guy is so adorable!!
