First baby!

Hi everyone!
I found out Saturday my husband and I will be welcoming our first baby on December 5. It was a shock but its definitely a blessing. I don't go to the doctor until next Wednesday but I really want to see if my hcg has doubled since Sunday when I had my first test done. It was 256 then which seems kinda low to me. Any thoughts or advice on how to get it checked or if 256 is an okay number??? Thanks!!!

    Welcome! I wouldn't worry too much about that number. As long as your numbers rise next time your doing great. It's so hard not to be concerned until you get the doctor to say you're okay but try to be calm. Babies like peace or so my friends keep telling

    Welcome and congrats.  A single number can't tell you too much, it really is all in the time it doubles.  But, I understand your concern.  If you'd like, our December Moms blog has a link under the Links tab to a website called BetaBase
