I was laying in bed just now with my 6 m/o trying to get him to take a nap. He had been nursing for quite a while, which is our routine, he always eats a lot to fall asleep and normally falls asleep on the breast.
This time was weird, I had thought he looked pale and felt clammy, kind of sweaty but cool, anyway, he pulled off my breast and turned his head and just kind of drifted off to sleep, it was different. Then a few seconds after his eye closed he started coughing and kind of breathing differently then he vomitted, A LOT. This kid's a spitter but this amount was very concerning, so I picked him up and stood him in front of me on the bed just to look him over and make sure he was ok and he did it again, A LOT of vomit.
I picked him up, took him into the kitchen to get a really good look at him and see if he seemed "normal" and he started smiling, the color came back to him and he didn't feel clammy any more.
What could this be? I'm so nervous. He seems ok now though.
Re: 6 m/o stomach bug?
He is EBF and we have not started solids. He did hit his head on the floor about 5 or 6 hours ago. He was sitting on the floor and just tipped over, his head hit but he didn't cry and didn't seem like he really noticed. It scared me but I assumed he wa
I would check his temp, and keep his fluids up. If he hit is head hard it might have been a slight concussion. Or he could be getting a stomach bug. He also could have just eaten too much, or had a bubble in his tummy that caused him to spit up a lot.
