I just saw this when I was going on to check the weather...
In a nutshell, the FDA has been ordered by a judge to lift age restrictions within 30days so that the Plan B pill can be available without a prescription for all ages. (Previously it was 16 and under needed a script to get it)
Thoughts on this?

I don't like the fact that a 14year old can just walk into a pharmacy and purchase it. Something just seems wrong about that, I feel like a parents presence should at least be required.

It terrifies me that kids that young are having sex, but I would also rather they have access to the morning after pill as opposed to other methods.
This is the reason I plan to be really honest with my kids about the birds and the bees- I think

I'm all for giving kids access to any and all safe contraceptives. I would of course prefer they use condoms (because AIDS can be a death sentence, let's be real here), but I think this is a step in the right direction. Also, we know from places that D

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
I am not sure how I feel....it's better than getting an abortion but teens may think it's just an easy way out and continue to have unprotected sex.
