Just Curious..

Just wondering if any of your hubby's or SO's have come with you to your appointments or ultrasounds? My DH hasn't come to any so far and I mentioned coming to my 12 wk appt so he can see the baby and he basically flipped out about missing work and said he doesn't need to come. He then proceeded to tell me that he will come to one but it doesn't have to be the 12 wk appt. Maybe I'm just being over sensitive, but I feel like he should want to come to more than one appt. Any thoughts?!

Mine hasn't been able to come due to work as in he's been gone every single week! I am hoping he can make it to the 20 week so he can at least see the baby and debating on the doppler so he can hear the heart beat...

Mine only goes to the ultrasounds. He missed the first one because of work, he will miss one next week because he is travelling for work. Hopefully he can make the anatomy scan in a few weeks.

The only Appt. my dh came to were the u/s which with my first I had a 7w & 20w. This time around dh will only be coming to the 20w u/s. I would him work and make money since he is paid on commission only. There is no need for dh to come to all the app

This is our first LO and my SO has been to every apt so far and plans to come to all following apts. We make the apts first thing in the morning and his work is understanding and allows him to come in late. I'm very thankful!!!!

I think my major one is the 12 wk ultrasound because that's when they're checking for Down syndrome and such, and he did say he would come to that one, but not any other one. He has to use PA days and he doesn't want to use all of them on coming to my app

He came to my first three which were all ultrasounds and will come to the 20 week ultrasound. Otherwise, he doesn't come. I recorded the heartbeat for him at my last appointment, but those are so quick, there's no point in him missing work for them.

Mine comes/will come to as many as he can. I try to schedule them for when I know he's usually available. Mostly he's there for moral support. Once we see if the baby is okay at the A/S he might skip some of the check ups.

DH abhors doctor's offices. That said, he came when I knew we would see the heartbeat and when I sat down to schedule all my appointments I asked what would be done at each of them and for the big ones like the AS I scheduled them for the morning
