At what point do "sleep and play"s and other onepiece items stop being acceptable everyday wear? Is it different around the house vs. going out?

    I call them "lounge wear" instead of sleep so I can justify her wearing them all day :

    I dress H depending on how the night went. If he didn't sleep well and I want him to sleep more during the day, I usually dress him in a one piece or sleep n play. If we are going out I dress him in a cute outfit. Basically just to show him off <img src="

    I've never thought about it, I just put her in whatever. The majority of the time she's covered by a blanket anyway so no one sees what she's wearing.

    I know that I am weird on this one, but DD only wears "sleep and plays" for pajamas. When she gets up for the day, I change her into some sort of outfit. However, I also always wear jeans. I can only do yoga pants for pajamas or working out. Just an od

    My ds wears a sleep n play to daycare almost every day. They are easy, comfy for him and it means we don't have to fight with keeping socks on. I would say about 9 months and then when they start walking of course it's over.

    my LO wear her onesies 90% of the time.  yes, even if we are running errands on the weekends.  since she's always in her stroller, i tend to just put a jacket on her so it's always fast and simple. most of the time, she's covered by a blanket
