After peacefully laboring for two days at home we found out that little Oliver had turned on us and was transverse and our surrogate would need a csection. We were all disappointed that we weren't going to have the water birth at the birthing center. The midwife and I were allowed to be in the OR, I was so happy to have her there because I think I would have been a crazy mess without her. Oliver was born at 12:08am on 3/29, weighed 7.12 lb and is 20 inches long. He has a full head of dark hair and I instantly fell in love with him. Once we get out of the hospital I'll post some photos!
