I think every healthy person should be required to be an organ donor.
I just don't understand why people would choose not to give their healthy organs to someone in need after they die. You no longer need them. You can SAVE LIVES. It just makes no sense to me. There are so many people on transplant lists that need your healthy organs to survive. So many KIDS & BABIES that need organs. It just makes me sad when people choose not to be organ donors.

I couldn't agree more.
I've heard some people don't want to be donors for fear that once medical professionals see they're organ donors they won't try as hard to save their life...<img src="https://community.thebump.com/cs/emoticons/emotion-43.
I haven't committed to being an organ donor because it gives me anxiety to think about my own mortality at this point. I have no idea why. And by 'not committed to', I mean that I haven't had my driver's license updated to reflect organ donor status.</

K, so my mom is slightly crazy. I'm certain she'd be clinically diagnosed if she cared to get help for it (no sarcasm, very serious). Anyway, to give background on her crazy

I agree with you 100%, although I think there are some flaws in the process that make it difficult for people to do it, who maybe otherwise would. This is just from what I understand. I'm not very knowledable about this subject.

I don't think that it should be mandatory to be a donor, but I think that if there was more education on the subject, more people would choose to be donors. I think that everybody needs to make that decision for themselves, and it's much easier if you
