It's been a long while but a question

A very warm hello to all of my bumpies from years gone by. :-) I think of you (and your LOs) often and I hope you're all doing well. I have a question that I think you guys might be able to speak to, have any of you dealt with a CAPD (Central Auditory Processing Disorder) Dx? It looks like Asher is headed down that path and rather than wait until he's age 5-7 to get an official Dx, we're looking to treat him as if he has it now (I could write a novel as to why, but trust me, it makes sense for the Weester). What are your thoughts? Recommendations? Words of wisdom? Lay it on me.

    I have this.  Okay, let me first let you know I have my MBA and two bachelor's degrees, but this didn't come without a ton of hard work :)

    I had to have speech until about first grade and then I had help with what they at that time called ba

    Thank you so much for your reply.  Every single thing you said falls in line with Lo. At first they were leaning toward an ASD Dx (which, would have been fine by us had it been valid) but his presentation leans much more toward CAPD.

    as a mother of a child with special needs, i can understand your desire to have the right diagnosis right now so you can get him the most help possible. unfortunately that's not a realistic expectation.
