My midwife today mentioned that she thought the baby was a bit bigger (though she was still very supportive of the whole natural delivery). I told her I didn't want to hear how big she thought the baby would be, figuring it would just freak me out, and make me feel like I can't do it, when I know my body is perfectly capable. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to go in unprepared. Does anyone have any recommendations for laboring/pushing out a larger baby? Any tips would be most appreciated.

My midwife is estimating that if I go to my due date (40w 5 d) 4/5, LO will be close to 9 pounds. But she had that look of, "ehh, it will be a big baby, so what." Like it isn't a big deal. Her head can't get much larger, nor her shoulders really so wha
My first and only baby was 8lbs 13oz with a 14" head. Everything was fine. I had a successful and uneventful homebirth. I had a small tear but if I had stretched my pushes out to 8 or 10 instead of only 5 or 6 I might not have torn at all.

I've only had one and he was 8lbs 13oz, I think you just do whats you'd do for a smaller baby.
One thing I will say, when I was pushing I started to think that everyone had been lying to me the whole time and that babies don't fit through vaginas

DD1 was 9lbs and DD2 was 10lbs 2oz. Both labours were straight forward and issue free.
For DD1 I had a growth scan because I was measuring large. My MW said before the scan, "It won't change how we approach things or what we do, but it can be nic
