Sephora?

Would you ever brave using this name? I really like it but like it pronounced Seffra vs Sefora which I'm pretty sure Seffra is not the correct way. Probably a GP name only

Eta: name thought was inspired by last weeks viewing of The 10 Commandments moses wife. Dang you Charleton Heston for not knowing how to pronounce this name.

Yeah, between the store and the made up pronunciation, this has Bad Idea written all over it.

Maybe Sapphira? Seraphina?

Hahaha, my friend and I were just talking about this on Easter because she had watched the movie! She was trying to figure out if his wife was from one of the painted tribes and if that is why the cosmetics store shared her name.

Poor Zipporah!

The first thing I think when I see the name is the store. I have never heard the other pronunciation before.

It's normally spelled Zipporah, however some Bibles spell it with a silent T at the beginning. I had a friend name her baby girl this, she goes by her full first name but has a more traditional middle name that if she chooses to go by that.
