STM's: how close were you to your due date?

I'm trying to figure out if there is any real possibility I could cork myself up and save my LO until Halloween. Yes, I'm due October 16, but if I'm 4 days late the baby will have my moms birthday! So STMs, how early or late were you from your due date!

My DD was 3 weeks early since I was induced at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia. I'll never forget how shocked DH and I were when we learned I had to be induced early.

My water broke at exactly 38 weeks with LO. I have a pretty good feeling that there's no way in hell you will be thinking 'oh yeah, I really hope I go 4 days past my due date!' When the time comes closer. The end of pregnancy is no cake walk!

DD came on her own 3 weeks early. I Doubt when you are 40 plus weeks you are going to be hoping the baby stays in longer. HA The last weeks are the sorst they say!

4 days early. I seriously doubt your doctor will let you go 15 days over. The max I've heard of IRL is 10 days.

My first, my water broke on 41w, I had him the next day. If he hadn't come on his own then the request for my induction had been submitted an hour before my water broke and I was waiting for the call anyway.

My doctor told me at around 37 weeks to make sure I had a bag packed because my baby was very low. Yeah....he was finally induced almost two weeks late!

My baby girl was 9 days early. I noticed that she wasn't moving much one day so they brought me in for a stress test. Turns out her heart rate kept dipping into the 70's...it was straight to the hospital for me where I was induced.

DS was 6 days early. I have a feeling he actually came "on time" though because I never had a dating ultrasound or particularly "regular periods" and when I had an US at 14 weeks and 20 week he was measuring 6 days ahead in both.

There was no corking myself up. We tried all the natural induction and those babies came when they were ready. If I go 9 days late this time we will get a halloween baby.<span class="Apple-s
