Do we still do this?
It took less then 10 minutes for my MIL to almost kill my kid yesterday.
She was holding DD, and I had DD a ritz cracker (which she loves to eat). I told MIL to watch her to make sure she didn't put the whole thing in her mouth. So, DD puts the whole thing in her mouth, which I pointed out to MIL... who then said, "Oh, you want down?" to DD. To which I said, "Please don't put her down while she's eating."
And I swear I saw the whole thing happen before it happened. DD took one step and choked on the cracker. I picked her up and started hitting her on the back, had her over my shoulder so DH could start fishing it out of her mouth... and she just was coughing and coughing and couldn't breathe and turning bright right. Thank GOD there was an RN in the room (seems like they saved the day all over yesterday!)... DH was so shaken up, so was DD. And MIL? Didn't seem to realize it was a big deal.
Anyone else?

I'd have freaked out something severe if I were in your shoes, CD! Ah! I'm glad your DD is ok though.
My MIL asked us to stop by and pick up Aria's Easter gift. (there's an entire novel's worth of why we didn't want to see them, why we feel con

Nothing to bad here. We didn't have any plans for Easter besides the egg/basket hunt in the morning with just the 4 of us. So I thought that we would go visit the ILs later that day. You know...actually have a reason to dress the kids
I touched on this in my Daycare post below, but I'm about to lose it on mine. For real. Lose it.

I hate how MIL's NEVER seem to listen. It's like they think they know better than you or something. I don't know.
My complaints, as always, revolve around food.
She just kept feeding him PEEPS, and juice, and crap.
Recently, while she
MIL did awesome with DDs Easter present! She gave goldfish, fruit/veggie pouches and stuffed animals.
She also referred to herself as momma when talk to DD for the entire day. This is the first time she's ever done this and DH and I were baffled
