Time to intro here?

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if I fit in here but I am starting to think so. My siggy is not updating from my last update so the brief overview is that DH was diagnosed with slightly low count, motility, and morphology and therefore we thought our main problem was male factor. We started IUIs for this issue and I actually over responded to clomid each cycle and was cut to half a pill for a cycle or two. After three failed IUIs we were ready to move on to IVF  in November ( right after my only sister had a baby). I was actually worried about OHSS given the response to clomid. After responding miserably to the meds I found out that my AMH is 0.3 and this was from blood work done prior to all the IUIs so I was quite annoyed not to have this info. We did another attempt at IVF in January with terrible response again and was converted to IUI. We mete with the RE recently and made a new plan which will be a microdose Lupron flare protocol ( first attempt was antagonist, second was antagonist plus clomid). I am on birth control pills now and will start Lupron in like 2 1/2 weeks. Oh yeah the RE added human growth hormone for this cycle and recommended a high protein/low carb diet.

So I am trying to gear up for this cycle but it is so much harder now. I know what I'm looking at- the constant anxiety about whether we will be cancelled if I don't respond well, all of the blood work, and 5 shots a day. Ugh. Anyone have suggestions? I was to try to be positive about it but right now I can't get there...

Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
IUI #2 August = BFN!
IUI #3 September = BFN!

IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    I'm not trying to be a jerk but one of the "rules" here is you shouldn't intro just as you are starting a new cycle. It's not fair to us if you get a BFP right when you come to this board since this board is for those "left behind". My suggestion would be

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    The pp are right about the ruleS. However my friend had the same protocol as you with a similar issue and if I were you I would call and have a phone consult with CCRM.

    Hugs first and foremost. I agree with the other vets that now would not be an appropriate time intro on this board. My only suggestion would be a second opinion. CCRM as LuvBoston mentioned. GL!
