Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

small/thin ubilical cord-reason for loss

So my doctor told me the reason for my loss was the cord was too thin at the insertion point into the babies belly. So basically he was not getting enough food/oxygen and so on.

Have any of you heard of this??

A friend of mine looked it up for me and found its pretty common 1 out of 200 women I think she said.

Re: small/thin ubilical cord-reason for loss

  • I do not know anything about this but wanted to say that I am so so sorry. Did you talk to the Drs or did they say anything to you were you can research this to understand it better?  Did they say you had to worry about this again?

    So sorry
