So the previous post reminded me that I hadn't received my bag. The wife of my boss who I'm very close to gave me a printout of the Via Messenger bag at my shower and I have been checking my mail since. I sent her a text asking if she had gotten a confirmation on shipping because I couldn't wait to get it. She replied that she hadn't ordered it yet.

I'm stuped. She called me a week before the shower talking about how she wanted to get me a diaper bag. I told her I had one I loved on my registry and she said to just take a look at a couple other sites. So I looked to appease her and told her that if she insisted on spending more money I liked the Via messenger bag. She then told me to stop at babies r us to see it in person. Luckily my bru had one so I went and looked at it again to appease her.

So now a week after my shower I find out she hasn't ordered it. My question is, do I just go buy my own? These people are extrememly affluent and she's not busy. I have no idea what the hold up is but I'm over the whole thing!

    I guess that would take care of it. Then I have it if I need it and if she ever orders it I can return it unused.

    So... do I send her a thank you card?

    I suppose you could send her a thank you card for attending your shower. That's so odd that she printed out a picture of the bag without having purchased it for you.

    Thanks ladies! I'm one of those mark things off my list kind of people and unfinished situations make me crazy. Buying it on my own and sending her the thank you ties up the loose ends. I'm tired of worrying about it!

    Buy the bag, keep the reciept. I am the prepared over planner myself. I totally get how this would be annoying. Leave the tags on it, but at least you can pack it and if you do happen to have your baby early your ready and not waiting on her, but is she d

    I'd get my own bag and keep the receipt. I wouldn't feel bad about returning hers, if necessary (if you ever get it). That's pretty weird and lame of her to bring a picture of what she's going to get for you to the shower. It's not like it was something s
