I hate the effing Moby. Suggestions??

I loathe the Moby. I never get it wrapped right. My LO is screaming, and there I am, sweating, trying to get this damn thing wrapped! I also hate how long it is and that it drags on the gound when I try to put it on.

What carrier are you using? Is it simple and quick to use ? I am considering a k'tan...

  • Have you tried the seven sling? My girlfriend said its like the Moby but a lot easier to get on. She has both those, plus the ergo and the baby bjorn. She brought them all over and I love the ergo but its pretty pricey.  I also like the Moby but am s

  • something that's helped me with the sleepy *similar to the moby* is to tie it before I need it...like if I'm giong to the store, I'll tie it before I get in the car so i can slide LO in when I get there. I've also watched a bunch of you tube videos on

  • The more you use it the easier and faster it goes. That doesn't help you today, but keep practicing, it is actually a great carrier. The ergo is great as well. They all take a few times to get used to them
  • I have the ergo with the infant insert and I think it's pretty easy to use once you practice with it.

  • I felt the same way in the beginning, but I watched a ton of tutorials and now it's like my new best friend.  But I have heard the k'tan is a good option.

  • I HATE it, too!  It's so dumb.  You can't put it on or take it off with a baby in your arms (or at least I can't).  And my baby hates it too.  I'm going to try the ergo with infant insert.  I found a few on amazon for a decent

  • Definitely tie it before you leave the house, and just wear it in the car. It takes a little practice, but has been a lifesaver for me!

  • I hated the moby with my first two kids. I never could figure it out. But so many moms swore by it, I told myself I would use it for LO#3. I watched 4-5 youtube videos and figured out what I was doing wrong (who knew to make a pocket? not me lol) . Now

  • I have used the Moby and would get it on before leaving the house. If you do several errands it does loosen and it's very frustrating.
