When does nesting kick in?

I don't know about you ladies...
But I am feeling seriously skeeved out in my house. I feel like no matter what i do it's not organized enough, it's too
small, dirty... Blah! It's seriously driving me crazy. I think about it when I'm not in it! Granted things will improve once the nursery is done and I can actually unpack some gifts in there...

Normally I'm a little freaky about organization and cleanliness... But this is a new level! I just went and dropped a bunch of stuff at goodwill and it didnt give me as much satisfaction as it usually does...

Anyone else?

Officially? Right before labor in the third trimester. It can start months before your due date though. I would hesitate to call anything right now nesting though.

Yep, I began officially nesting the early stages of my labor. I was doing weird things like scrubbing the tub, toilet, kitchen. Everything I could think of. I eventually got tired of it though and began to focus on what was going on.

The nursery is quickly becoming the most welldesigned room in my house. Today I bought frames for three art prints for the room and Saturday we are painting the room.

This feeling has been on and off for me since about 16 weeks. I think part of it is b/c I felt so crappy in the 1st tri and didn't get much accomplished.
