I am going to throw a party after the baby comes.... saw the idea on the TODAY show. It is called a "sip and greet". Well have a mimosa bar... diff juices to mix into champaign, brunch type appetizers and a chance for people to come and celebrate/meet LO.
Honestly, I had no idea that a second shower seemed tacky until I got on this board. Most people I know have had multiple showers. But that could just be my huge family. Lol. I'd say go for it if someone offers.

I would do a Baby Sprinkle. It is perceived to be a little more "tasteful" for the 2nd child.
I personally don't have a problem with more than one baby shower unless you are popping them out every year and if they are the same gender close toget
I would do something to celebrate THEM like a dinner. Not another shower to make them involved, they'll be living near you so they will be involved this time. If you want to celebrate your baby that's something completely different, have a meet the bab

you shouldn't do it if your children are less than 3 years apart? says who? If I were you I would do it. A baby is a blessing and there is nothing wrong with sharing your joy with friends and family at a baby shower.
