Ugh. Vent

DH is out of town. His parents are here while he's gone. They're keeping DD during the day while I work. Great. Except, they have totally screwed up her schedule. I normally won't let her nap past between 3 and 4. Her bedtime is around 8, and anytime past 4, she just isn't tired at 8. I came in yesterday at 4:45 and she was sleeping. I came home at around the same time today and the same thing. So, it's 9:30 here and DD finally went to sleep. And also, I think I pulled something in my shoulder or neck when I put her in her crib. AND their dogs are driving me crazy. Their boxer attacks my bigger dog, and the smaller of their dogs snapped at DD yesterday. If I drank alcohol, tonight would be the night I would get wasted.

  • I'm fascinated with the idea your child sleeps that long for a nap; however, I agree with Crystal- nobody fuccks with sleep!  How long are they staying?  I hope for your sake you can get sleeping habits back on track once they're gone.   <b

  • I don't know, I don't think a late bedtime is the end of the world. I'd be thankful that they are helping out. Now the dog thing - that would get on my every last nerve.
  • I am with Crystal. Nobody frucks with sleep. Nothing gets you on my shiit list quicker.
And if their dogs cannot behave, they need to be boarded next time. Not cool. Snapping at your kid? I'd probably lose it.
