Gerber clothes are freaking tiny!

My sister told me that Gerber clothes tend to run small, so when I added a 5 pack of onesies to my registry I bumped them up to the 3-6 mo size instead of the 0-3 size.

My DHs aunt bought them and they are super cute but I took them out of the package and I'd say that they will probably only fit my little girl until she is 1 month old. So cute, but SO tiny!

Just a heads up!

  • Yes, I noticed the Gerber onesies I bought looked really small. So I put the 0-3 month ones I bought in the newborn drawer. Yes, I have a drawer for newborn clothes, one for 0-3 months, another for 3-6 mo...<img src="https://community.thebump.com/cs/emotic

  • I just bought some but hadn't opened them yet. Maybe I'll go exchange for a larger size. Thanks for the heads up.

  • They are... but they have a little stretch. You'll be surprised how long you can use them.

  • We had a tiny baby last go-round, so I was actually very happy that I had some gerber's onesies and sleepers.  So much cheaper than buying Carters or Gymboree for something she only wore for the first 4-6 weeks.

  • They are tiny, however, like pp said they are strechy. I really like them, just always remember to buy a size up. I also put my 0-3 with newborn, 3-6 with 0-3 etc. I also found that gymbroee is a little big sometimes, circo and faded glory pretty true to

  • I did not like the Gerber brand of clothing at all. They do run very small and too me the quality isn't there. I loved the carter's brand onsies.

  • Gymboree runs wide and short and Carter's runs longer and slimmer. I loved Gerber on my peanut for the first months. She was little. Then we moved into cCarters because of the fit. Don't write any brand off because you never know what will be best. I don'

  • Yeah, I dislike Gerber baby clothes. I've had good luck with Carter's, Circo (Target), and Old Navy.

  • I don't have any Gerber clothing on my registry.  I was warned by both my youngest sister & my BFF about the clothes being small and not well made.  Most of my clothing is Carter.
