Exhausted.. Almost done working?...

Any one else absolutely exhausted?  I feel like between just carrying the twins, diarrhea, nauseasness, frequent urination, needing to drink something all of the time, tingling, and swelling I am just more exhausted than I can handle.  Hubby doesn't understand why most chores are behind.. I just can't keep up.

The doctor suggested I be done last week but I asked if I could keep going another week... Bad idea but I have almost made it through my last week of work. I teach ms and it is getting difficult. Just in case you can't see my sig we will be 34 weeks tomorrow with our di/di girls.  any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • I have a similar question, but I'm only 29 weeks along with mono/di girls. I was wondering if people left work early for sanity reasons or for medical necessity only. Peeling myself out of bed at 5am, driving an hour and working a full day just seem to be

listen to your body when it says enough...everyone is different and you only get one shot! I went off at 32 weeks after a PTL scare.
  • Agree with pp listen to your body. It's time to slow it down. Your body is sending you signals through all of these symptoms. It's time to take it easy and let your babies grow for at least two more weeks. These next two weeks are important for you and th
  • I wish I would have stopped working at 34 weeks (My girls were also di/di)...I worked until 35 weeks 4 days and was induced at 36 weeks for pre-e...I think if I had stopped working around 33/34 weeks I could have made it an extra week or two...definitly l
  • I'm there with you, getting up and going to work is exhausting.  When I get home I just put my feet up and rest but I'm still crazy tired.  We're starting to go to our dr weekly for the biophysical profiles this week and I'm kind of hoping that

  • I'm not nearly as far along, but the exhaustion is so much worse this time. Between working full time, having a very active 3 year old that doesnt STTN, and carrying twins, I'm just plain beat. Doesn't help I haven't been able to sleep flat due to reflux

  • Definitely listen to your body and take it easy. I thought I'd work all the way through as I only have a desk job. But at 30 weeks my MFM reduced my hours to 6/day and even that was a struggle . I found myself having to sit down while getting ready for wo
  • I work at a desk job so my hope is to make it to 35 weeks. I'm currently 30 weeks and I do very little at home. If your DH doesn't get that at 34 weeks with twins you don't have the energy to do "chores" after teaching all day, then maybe just tell him

  • I was a hs teacher and can't imagine making it to 34 weeks! Way to go hanging in there that long! Now all that said, listen to your body and if you need to be done be done! And definitely get help with the chores at home! Carrying twins is exhausting!
