Nosebleeds

I know that nosebleeds are very common during pregnancy and I was prone to them before I got pregnant. I never, however, got light headed after them in the past. Today I had a bad one that took a while to clot. Now I am extremely light headed. Have any of you dealt with these? If so, is there anything you recommend eating or drinking to deal with the light headedness?

    Ah! Just got my first one! It wasn't long. I hope you find some remedies! Keep hydrated and maybe an ice pack? I don't know, I'll have to research... Eager to read others' responses.

    I've never had a nose bleed before. But I've had sooo many more boogers lately and whenever I blow them out they're bloody. Possible tmi. Just thought it was kind of the same thing.

    I have had blood in my nose this entire pregnancy. yay! lol. it doesnt bleed runny down my face or anything, but when i blow my nose, it's there

    No actual bleeds, but I do have bloody boogers and after a major crying spell I had a lot of blood mixed in

    I've had massive nosebleeds for weeks now, and I was never prone to nosebleeds pre-pregnancy (first one ever was when I was 23). I think they're worse when I'm a little dehydrated, so keep drinking water and use a humidifier if you can. I don't have speci

    This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! 
    DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
    131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
    We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

    Gah! I get them all the time whenever I am pregnant only. They suck! My last one happened while I was driving, felt something drip and looked in the mirror...blood! I drink a ton of water during the day and use a humidifier at night and it just doesn't he

    I have been getting these for a while now, pretty much at least once a week. I run a humidifier at home and it seems to help and I kind of use the nosebleed and a barometer for when I need to run it. Its just another embarassing side effect of pregna
