Convertible car seat ?

Hi ladies! I'm from the August 2012 board and my LO (7 months) is soon to outgrow his infant seat and need a convertible one. I've been researching but I wanted to get some opinions from real ladies instead of web sites that get paid to promote certain ones, KWIM?

So, if you don't mind, please recommend your convertible seat!! THANK YOU!!

FWIW, I have a Nissan Sentra (4-door sedan) and no other children at the moment. (for size considerations)

    We bought the Recaro Proride and like it a lot. Pros: It is easy to install, easy to adjust, and the fasteners are much easier to use than our old Graco infant seat. Cons: I drive an Accord which has very slanted backseats, so we had to use a pool nood

    We got the graco my size 70 and love it! It is a little smaller than the my ride, so was a better fit. Very easy to install and adjust as he grows,

    I also have a Recaro ProRide and love it.  Like a PP did, I had to use a pool noodle for it to be at the right angle.  

     

    we figured if Recaro seats were safe enough for race car drivers, it was safe enough for us!
