Hi ladies,
I'm talking with the Pedi tomorrow but looking for some experience/advise.
DS gets a nasty little cough once a month. This is month #5 that he's gotten it. He coughs so hard that he throws up, and is up all night. It's miserable for the little guy. I've done a lot of online research this weekend, and see suggestions of it being asthma. I was also diagnosed, and grew out of asthma as a child. However, what is throwing me is that DH and I usually catch what he has when he is sick too. So if it's contagious.. guessing it's not asthma?
We try all the tricks in the book: honey, vapor, elevated mattress etc. And nothing works. He never runs a fever with this. He had a flu shot, and does not go to day care. This is just throwing me off so much!
I've read a suggestion to decrease dairy.. thinking of switching to soy milk, he'll be 2 next month.
Anybody have similar experiences?
