We will be taking a trip to FL in a few weeks. It occurred to me today, that I don't know what to do with DD when we eat at a restaurant. We aren't bringing the stroller due to lack of space. We are using a convertible carseat, so we won't have a carrier. She is nowhere near being able to sit unassisted, which they need to be able to do in those standard wooden highchairs. A lot of the restaurants down there only have bench (picnic table) or booth seating, so the option to bring the portable highchair that straps to a chair isn't an option either. We considered buying an umbrella stroller when we got down there, but they sit so low to the ground that we wouldn't be able to see her very well.
Any ideas? A bumbo would be ok I guess if we were in a booth, but not for a backless bench.

She isn't anywhere near sitting up? Can she at least hold her head up without flopping forward?
We have one of the little seats that attach to the table, although she can't sit up alone she can kind of lean in this seat, we have yet t
She is 4 mos, 3 weeks. She has torticollis, so she is delayed in a lot of her milestones that involve her neck and back muscles. She can hold her neck up well, but tips right over without support. Those restaurant highchairs have no back support.

Most restaurants have a sling instead of a high chair. It is made just for infant car seats. They look like this, or some variation of. We have seen some that are just wooden with straps similar to what they set food trays on.
