I also am a teacher so I see some things that make me cringe. Lately in the kindergarten hallway I've come across these beauties identifying their artwork: Burundi, Ka'Vaya, Reeona, and the one that just makes me sad, Alyvia.
My husband teaches and I've had a good chuckle at a few of them. When he taught at an inner city school, he said he called role by last name bc there were so many names he didn't know how to pronounce.
My pet peeve is adding the extra letter
Kinley Diane Born 2/4/14 Weighing 6 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long
I try not to judge because my daughters name is "youneek" but my husband loved the name and I couldn't imagine her with any other name. I try to keep an open mind to most names but if I can't pronounce it or spell it I might have an issue with that. </
