I took the kids to see The Croods this afternoon and my two older kids got yelled at by middle aged women for rocking in their own seats. I asked my kids not to rock their chairs, and asked the women to tell me if there was another problem instead of yelling at my kids. Lexie started rocking again and one of them said," oh we're definitely going to have a problem here if you don't knock that off." What the heck? The first time I was nice, the 2nd time I told them the only problem we had was with grown women trying to pick a fight with children at a children's movie, and that if there was another issue that I would be happy to get a manager to sort it out. One woman got up and left after I said that, the other two stayed. None of them came with kids, my kids were in their own seats, not talking or anything, and FFS we were at a kid's movie on a Saturday afternoon! Please tell me these ladies were crazy azzholes because I'm still fuming mad over it!

I'm on your side here...
ds has some sensory issues and tends to always be moving. We have never gone to a movie yet, but I would be pissed if we went to a children's movie in the afternoon and some woman were being like that.
