I never asked what made my baby die. All I know is my ob said it was a genetic issue, and not one that was likely to happen again. For some reason it nags at me all the time. Dh didn't want to know. We also decided to not find out the baby's sex. We always refer to the baby as a boy, since the only name we had picked out was Harrison.
Also, right after I miscarried, we thought I had accidentally gotten pregnant again, and then I started to bleed a few weeks later, and by the time I got betas done, my hcg level was 0. My ob said he didn't think I miscarried, that I had a positive test from my last pregnancy. I personally think I did, from some info that my ob doesn't know, like the negative pregnancy test a week before, etc.
anyways, I guess the point is, would there be any point in bringing this up again? Would it do good to here why the baby died. Or do I really want to here, yes you lost 2 babies, which I guess I do, that way I don't have to feel like a crazy person talking about, " when I possibly miscarried a second time. "
Thanks for listening to me ramble. This has been only mind like crazy, since last week was a year since my possible 2nd loss, and my best friend just lost a baby, had her d&c yesterday.

I think that it's worth bringing up to your OB because it seems to be weighing on you.
That being said, following both of my miscarriages and D&Cs I got positive pregnancy tests for weeks following them....all residual hcg levels, not new pre
