any moms have two of one sex and then on their third pregnancy have the opposite

I have two wonderful little boys and I am currently pregnant with our third baby. I am really hoping for a girl! However my husband comes from a large family 11 kids and only two girls and both the girls were the last two pregnancies. So I think I am kinda expecting another boy but really hoping for a girl. I was just wondering how common the three kids of one sex are oppossed to 2 of the same and then getting the opposite on the third? Thanks ladies! 

fyi.. I will be completely fine if the baby is a boy!:o) just hoping for a girl

    I have two boys and am pregnant with my third. We are planning one more baby after this one... My husband would love a girl but I'd be fine either way... Boys are easy!

    I have 2 girls and am pregnant with our third girl. Interestingly, SIL, DH's sister is the first girl on his dad's side in 5 generations, then we have 3 in a row!

    You have a 50 50 chance. Previous kids do not affect the outcome of if this baby is a boy or girl. Family history doesn't affect if it will be a boy or girl.

    My aunt had 4 boys and no girls, so who knows?

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    We are on our third boy. We were hoping for a girl too. My hubby is just so good at making boys, I suppose.

    If you have two children of the same sex, there is a higher than 50% chance that the third baby will be the same sex.  I think the statistic I read put it in the neighborhood of 75% chance of a third baby of the same sex.

    Your other pregnancies have absolutely no barring on this pregnancy. It is 50/50 every time.

    Not to be a downer but my aunt and uncle had seven boys because they kept trying for their girl. Never did have a girl. Seven handsome boys though.

    Based on scientific research every baby is 50 50. STATISTICALLY speaking you have a 1 in 8 chance all three kids will be boys, but you can make anything sound the way you want with statistics.

    Here's hope:  My dad, my uncle, and my aunt all had 3 kids each.  They all had 2 boys close in age and then one girl years later.  Probably random but it's an odd coincidence!

    I agree with those that say there are other factors that influence these things. I think everything the mother does and everything the father does, comes into play and changes the potential outcome. Hence why so many couple have a ton of one gender. There

    I have 2 girls and am expecting a boy.  We were team green with our first two, and in the beginning of this pregnancy, I was almost certain #3 was a girl, too.  I'm one of 3 girls, so it's what I know.  Whenever anyone would make a comment

    Statistics is different than biology.  Looking at from merely a statistical standpoint, yes, your odds are 50:50, because you're either going to have a boy or a girl.  But biology comes into play - what influeces Y sperm vs. X sperm.  Li
