controversial post...but need serious advise

Im 11 weeks along with twins and reached the end of my rope w hypermesis. I have been so sick every day from 5 weeks. Sometimes I have started at 3:30 am to 11:30 pm. I have been hospitalized three times, I have bled from throwing up, constipation, and rupturing vessels in my nose. I can no longer even control my bladder while vomiting. My face is covered in spots from broken blood vessels and I on top of all this am caring for a 6 month old. I have been onzofran which didn't work....and an anal suppositories where the insomnia and agitation it caused made things worse. Suddenly then I would have brown spotting from throwing up. Finally, Wed night I broke down begging my husband to let me abort (keep in mind this after four years of infertility my DD is adopted THATS how bad it is). I literally broke down and just prayed for an answer. I went to my friends house bc I just needed out after being prisoner to my bathroom for months. Thats when she mentioned marijuana. At first I said no way until I got home and researched it. It appears the risk of side effects is similar in risk to anti emetics. Then i read a story so similar to mine it shook me up enough to try it rather than consider termination anymore. . it worked. Yesterday I took a hit five times during the day (off a small joint) and I didn't throw up once! I was barely even nauseous. Now that I feel better though im questioning it. I keep telling myself ive lost five pounds and gained three inches on my waist...im sick and it helps. I have yet to take a prenatal vitamin bc i cant keep them down. so im asking without judgement for advise...im discussing it with my Dr today. im just curious if anyone else has firsthand experience or advise...and please dont say eat crackers lol.

I am sorry you have had it so rough. But I wouldn't take street drugs without having any clue what is in them or what they may have been contaminated with. Talk to your doctor. Maybe you need to be inpatient for a couple of days while you are on some iv f

There are medicines and vitamins the Dr can prescribe you if you are that sick. I agree with the others that I would not take street drugs without talking to the Dr first. You never know what else might be in that weed. I would not believe everything y

There is nothing really to add to the above. I agree with PP that you should definitely talk to your doctor. I really don't know if I would even consider medical marijuana, I'd have to do a LOT of research, but I can't imagine how awful it must be feeling
