shots tomorrow

We go to the pedi tomorrow morning for his 2 month shots. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about how he'll do. He's a fairly mellow baby and did fine with his hep B at the hospital, but that was only 1 shot. I have tylenol on hand for after in case he needs it. He's been a little off his game today, too. Hold me!!

    That was us on Monday! I'll admit that I teared up when he got the injections (he just looked so disappointed!). LO was pretty fussy when we got home, but I gave him some tylenol and he fell asleep. He woke up the next morning all smiles and coos

    Have a boob or a bottle ready to soothe baby and repeat to yourself that a moments needle prick and maybe some mild symptoms are sooo much better than getting what the vax are for.

    Big hugs! I am staring down the barrel at the girls 4 mo shots and am already anxious! Good luck at the pedi!

    Thanks ladies!! I'm going to premix a bottle before we go in so i can have it ready. They had to do his newborn screen 3 times, so I had to watch him cry for that twice, plus all his heel sticks bc of his blood sugars in the hospital and he handled most

    Good luck today! It was awful to watch but he was easily comforted and didn't have too much of a fussy day afterwards.

    *hugs* Those first shots are the worst! DD was kind of a mess after her 2 month shots, but she's gotten progressively better every time. Now she'll hardly cry if they give her one, and only for about twenty seconds if they give her two. I think it's harde
