C-sections

Pee?

Even though this is my second csection. I don't remember this. I literally sat on the toilet for an hour trying to pee. I did pee. But it would just be a little bit at a time. And I still feel like I need to pee. Just me?

  • How long ago was your c section? Maybe you developed a UTI from the catheter.

  • I'm starting to think a UTI as well.... i would absolutly bring it up to your nurses.

    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

  • Right after I got my catheter out they made me go to the bathroom. I had to pee so many ounces, don't remember the amount, by four hours or they'd recath me.

  • The first couple of times I had to go it was harder. It's normal right after. Has to do with the catheter.

    I felt bad because the first two times you go in the hospital the nurse has to be there.... and I just sat there for like 20 minutes the

  • I'm able to go again. I felt bad for the nurse too. I was in there so long. I just felt so guilty
  • I had difficulty going the first few times as well.  The nurse said it was normal...your body is waking up and remembering how to go again.

  • When was your c/s?  I had this for the first 24 hrs after they removed the catheter.  It was like my body forgot how to pee on it's own.
    SAHM to DD1 (7), DS (5) and DD2 (1)
