Lightweight stroller alone?

I have a snap and go type of stroller right now. My LO is getting really big, and I'm betting he'll be growing out of his infant seat in the next few months, so well be needing a new stroller soon.

I have a VERY small trunk bc I have a Civic hybrid. Civics don't have the greatest trunk space, and the hybrid battery eats up a lot of room that would otherwise be trunk.

I would love to just get a fully featured and compact, lightweight stroller like the Uppababy GLuxe. My only concern is durability. I'm not sure that these strollers are built to by used as the sole stroller for a baby. We don't use the stroller that frequently, at least at this point. When I occasionally go to the mall or we go to a museum, we pull it out. I'd guess that we're using it once every 1.5 to 2 weeks right now.

What do you think? Is it okay to just have a lightweight stroller?

    Other than my snap n go the G-Luxe has been the only stroller I've used.  It's held up GREAT. I've used it indoors & outdoors.... for everything.  It opens and closes in one step as well.  I think you'd be fine with just that. :)

    I would recommend a Chicco Lightway. This is my favorite stroller hands down.

    We sold our larger stroller when DS was around 1. Since then we've only used the G-Lux. I have no complaints. Sometimes the wheels squeak a bit, but that's literally the only problem we've had. We just took it to Disney and back, and it's still in great s

    Also, the baby jogger city micro is a good, small stroller. They were on clearance at target a few months ago, and now there are a few a my local goodwill for 80 dollars.

    We absolutely adore our Chicco Liteway! It's amazing! I definitely recommend it... It even has a full recline the original does, the plus doesn't I completely flat but close enough.
