Do I need to supply some sort of ID when we fly on a plane next week with L??
I'm the world's worst mom and haven't requested her birth certificate yet...she has a SS card and everything, but I never got her birth certificate.
I read online that they shouldn't need anything to identify L thru security...but wanted to double check to see if you ladies knew anything about traveling with your LO & their identification (if needed).
TIA!!!!
Re: Urgent Question...airline travel w/ your LO...
I always carry her birth certificate when we fly, but nobody has ever asked for it. I would assume it is more important when they are closer to two and they want to verify age if the baby doesn't have it's own seat.
Hi there.
I have a 9 year old and an 11 month old, you do not need any ID. My son (oldest) still does not have to show his ID. Unless your child travels alone or going through customs, no ID required.
We travel a lot, all over the world too. So we're seasoned pro's.
Have a safe trip.
