Induction or Natural?

So...I had my 39 week appointment today and the doctor said that the baby is really low, which is a good sign, and that my cervix is very soft (a big change from last week). There is still no dilation though.

My induction date is set for March 27th (my due date) were he is going to give me cerdivil first in hopes of getting my labor jump started, and if no progress is made then he will give me pitocin first thing Thursday morning, but he doesn't think the pitocin will even be necessary due to how soft my cervix already is.

I don't really feel like explaining the induction, but my doctor thinks that it is a good choice and that complications should NOT arise.

I am a little nervous, but also happy that I have an end date in mind.

I STILL could go naturally within the next 7 days, so now it is just a waiting game of which will come first.

Some are against this, but this is what is right for me and my family, and I have a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders right now. I felt stressed for days and now I finally feel hopeful again.

Wanted to share :) Pray I go within the next 7 days!

Like KellyAnne, I'm in a similar situation as well. I have an appointment tomorrow where we will be talking induction. My family physician thinks that we may be sent to the ho
