Moms with 2 wk old babies

DD is two weeks old, and starting yesterday afternoon she has been taking only one oz at a time instead of two and sleeping more. Anyone else? We were just at the doctors yesterday and she has been gaining very well. I'm thinking it could just be an early growth spurt.

    My guess is growth spurt. I BF but have to stimulate DS frequently when he is too sleepy to nurse. You could try unclothing baby, or giving a little tickle. If you're concerned call your doc to make sure amount baby eats is ok. I'm not familiar with

    There is a growth spurt at 7 to 10 days and another at 2 to 3 weeks. I wouldn't be concerned with a day or two of eating a little less and sleeping more.

    DD is two weeks old today and nurses for ten minutes then takes between 1.5-2oz of formula.  She is tiny, as of last Friday only 5lbs 3oz.  She sleeps about 15 hours a day for about 2-3 hours at a time.  DH and I are tracking everything on
