AW: cute baby moment

I was snuggling my baby back to sleep and she was crying from gas pains. I was trying to soothe her and reached out to stroke her cheek. She grabbed my finger and I kid you not, pulled it to her mouth, put it in, and sucked on it. I know it sounds crazy for a 3 week old. She was so incrediby sweet staring up at me while she held on my thumb as she sucked it. I'm sure it was dumb luck that she had such accurate motor function but it was truly amazing. I think this was my most beautiful parenting moment yet besides her birth and the first time I held her. I just adore my sweet princess!!

    That is so cute! My DH, who has two children from previous relationships, recently told me to "beware" of our new LO's sucking abilities. He has told me many stories of how my SKs, as babies, would suck on anything they could get their mouths on...noses,
