Birth photography?

I've been toying with the idea of asking a photog acquaintance to take pictures when LO comes. And by that, I mean pictures of the actual labour and delivery. I don't care so much for pictures of a goop-y newborn, but I think it would be neat to capture images of all the emotions of the moment, you know? I'm trying to find good examples to show DH what I mean and I thought maybe you ladies would be able to point me to some good websites?

Pintrest has some good sites. There was that post a little while ago that had the 100 birth pics i think. If i get a free hour I will have a boo for it.

I wanted to do that but the hospital here doesn't allow cameras until after the baby is born and everything has been cleaned up and removed from the room.

Also re: goop -- I had my mom & doula taking pics throughout my labor & delievery, and some of the goryest color photos did not look bad at all if you changed them to B&W. :-)
