Still not selffeeding!

My son still doesn't pick up pieces and put them to his mouth. He will grab them, hold them, push them, etc, but no eating! I have to put it in his mouth to show him. Is this normal? Any tips??

  • Are you feeding lo when you and dh sit down for dinner? If not try that babies learn everything by imitation plus it's great for a family to eat together.

  • My first did the same exact thing.  I spent what felt like forever trying to teach her how to put the food into her mouth after she picked it up and it was very frustrating.  Then one day she just started doing it and never looked back. &nbsp
