Inflatable toddler bed -Update post trip

We took the inflatable toddler bed on our trip to Portland this last long weekend. The first night DS wouldn't sleep in it. He fell asleep in our bed, so I transferred him to the inflatable bed, and he woke up crying 20 minutes later. We were too tired to fight with him so we just let him sleep in our bed that night.

Both Friday and Saturday night he made his way off of the bed in the middle of the night and ended up on the floor, which caused him to wake a couple of times, but he did go right back to sleep.  I think overall the inflatable bed worked well, and with a few more nights sleeping in it,  I think he will be pretty comfortable with it. 

On a side note, we stopped at IKEA while in Portland and we bought a ton of stuff. DH has never been to an IKEA before so he was worse than I was at buying things. It is going to take us a bit to pay this trip to IKEA off. Embarrassed

    At least the stuff you bought in Ikea was tax free! I live right on the other side of the river and try and do all of my shopping in Oregon.

    Smit!  Thanks for the update on the bed.  Still on the fence, do you think that you were better off than using the pack and play?

     Also, glad that you got to enjoy your trip to IKEA.  Sure is fun, isn't it :-)
