FYI (I checked this out, snopes and FDA website). The FDA is requesting comments on a proposal that would allow artificial sweeteners to be added to milk and milk products WITHOUT adding it to the label. This includes aspartame, etc.
I don't claim to be some organic crunchy momma or whatever, but I feel I have a right to be able to read the label on my food and understand what's in it. I'm not really happy with this thought... and after Hubby got all upset in the grocery store yesterday over these lil milk-boxes that weren't in the cold section (how do you call it milk if it doesn't require refridgeration?) I decided to do a bit more research this morning. So anyway, if you're interested in the FDA comment place, or just learning more, go here:

I'm confused. Reading the website you linked, it seems like it'll still be on the label, but it just won't prevent them from calling it "milk"? It wouldn't have to be called "reduced calorie milk" or whatever? I think when they're talking about it not
The solution is really simple if this does go forth. Drink/eat dairy from reputable sources and avoid extra ingredie
