When do you get projects done?

If you have younger kids, when do you manage to get bigger projects done (I.e. cleaning the garage or organizing closets)? Do you and your DH take turns, or do you hire a sitter? I am seriously dreading the packing process to move...

    Usually we take turns...somewhat.

    or wait until bedtime...and break out the wine, because I hate deep cleaning.

    We send the kids to visit grandparents for most of a day so DH and I can concentrate on what we're doing and hopefully get stuff done.

    I usually ask dh to take the kids out for a morning on the weekend and I try to tackle something big... but I still have a huge list because I end up getting caught up on laundry or something else.  So i guess my answer is more like never.

    It seems like I do them at the most random times, usually when I should be doing something else. I'll ask DH to occupy both kids while I do laundry but I'll end up organizing the storage bins of baby clothes instead. Sorry, that isn't too helpful. I do a
